While Baby Naps, Let's Do Craft!!!

Hahaha, today's title really true. While my baby is napping, it is time for me to do a super quick project. But, first of all, apology for missing lots of posts (i have a very good reason for this).

I AM A MOM NOW!!!!!

OMG!!! How this is happen? Never thought i could say that out loud: I AM A MOM NOW!!!

I gave birth via c-sect last 30 Aug 2015 to a healthy baby boy. His name is Matthew Wibowo Wang. Yup got 2 surnames. How cool is that.

My life and hubby's had been up side down and total haywire for this last 3.5 months. Lack of sleeps, restless nights, night wakings, diaper changes, mess feeding, etc etc etc.

But hey, being a mom is awesome despite of everything (wink wink wink).

Okay, now back to the crafting stuff...

Yesterday, while my baby was having a very nice afternoon nap, i was so bored. Usually i will take a nap too, but my mind kept thinking about craft, craft and craft. Ever since i had him, i had to minimise my sewing activity and even i have not been sewing anything :( and it made me so sad.

Sewing is a bit time consuming, even for small projects. I had to think other quick project beside sewing. Then, open pinterest and searching google images for paper craft.

I have been wanting to change Matthew's mobile for a while since his vision changing. I get a sense he can see shapes better and a bit colours as well, especially bold and striking colours like red, yellow and blue.

Still searching... Then i stopped at origami. And then search for a very simple origami folding instructions. It had to be simple and quick. Must finish before Matthew awake.

And my choice was origami aeroplanes. It was simple and quick. Plus suits for baby boys. I chose those paper aeroplanes that many folded and flew during school. Unfortunately, i never made one before. My brother used to played but then flew and pointed directed to me as the target. And ouch, sometimes too pointy and hurts.

The material needed:
- A4 size colour papers (blank papers are acceptable).
- Coloured paper clips (if don't have use the silver paper clips also fine).
- Thread in any colours.
- Baby mobile.
- A baby (hehehe).

You can search online for the instructions. I chose 2 different models
Please excuse my background.

Coloured paper clips. Never knew i had them ;)

Insert the clips to the wrong side of the paper aeroplanes. (They were also use to secure the foldings).

Then cut thread to your desire length. Just remember, the length must be higher so your baby can't grab them. I cut into different lengths. And tie knots to the paper clips then attached the knots to the mobile. YOU ARE FINISH!!!!

Hmm, at first he still try to figure what is that thingy...

He started to take interest...

Gotcha!!!

 And WOW!!!

Baby's point a view.
(Please excuse the fan on the background)

Okay, my baby is awake. I gotta go. I will see you on my next post.
